Each session, as we count down to banquet, we like to ask our genius campers all about their summer experience! What they loved, what they think would be cool to add, their favorite meal, EP, or favorite camp moment. Really, this is a personal note to Jimboy (who LOVES a good survey) from our campers about why they love camp!
Our survey asks each camper to list their favorite camp activity, and this year, the votes were unanimous! Some favorite activities were new(ish) to our dear old camp tradition, but some have been with us for 100 years. It’s amazing to see that the campers of 1920 loved the same things as our girls do now. Enjoy!
Who doesn’t love a day down at the blob dock? From paddle boarding, to corcling, to Mt. Edith and more, there is something for everyone at Waterpark. If you thought 2019 Waterpark was lit, get ready for 2020. New things are on the horizon!!!
It’s no surprise that Tennis is a VERY close second. Who doesn’t love basking in the sun with friends, learning a new skill, and listening to the vocal offerings of David Vining? “Oh What a Beautiful Morning” is in the memory of every Greystone tennis player, and having David know your name AND birthday…no wonder Tennis is a favorite!
Metal Jewelry came to us in 2004 and we have loved it ever since! Taught by the mega-talented artist, Marilyn Bailey, our campers learn how to set stones, make bracelets, earrings, and so much more!
Our Cooking Program is a camper and counselor favorite! This summer, over 1200 campers participated and made everything from homemade pasta to sushi! YUMMMY!
Synchronized Swimming has always been a camp favorite; a very “niche” activity that not many campers experience in the US. Our Main camp Synchro Show is a highlight of everyone’s summer and we can’t wait for 2020!
